Content Brief Generator
The Content Brief Generator (SEO Tools → Content tab) pulls live Google SERP data for any keyword and assembles a brief you can hand to a writer (or feed straight into the AI blog generator).
What it returns
For every keyword, you get:
- Search volume + difficulty + intent from RankEngine search data
- Target word count — based on what's currently ranking
- Top 5 ranking pages with their titles, descriptions, and heading structure
- People Also Ask questions (≤8) — answer these in your H2/H3 sections
- Semantic keywords to weave in naturally
- Phrase trends with recent SERP movement
AI synthesis (optional)
Click Generate + AI outline instead of plain Generate. RankEngine AI reads the SERP data and adds:
- A 1-2 sentence executive summary (positioning recommendation)
- A 6-10 section H2/H3 outline (each H2 has 2-4 H3 bullets)
The synthesized outline is grounded in actual SERP data — no fabricated topics.
Hand off to the blog generator
When AI synthesis is on, you'll see a Use this brief in Blog Generator → button. Clicking it carries the keyword + formatted outline into Content Studio → Write Post tab. The outline becomes a writing prompt the blog generator follows.
Plan access
Content briefs are available on content-capable paid plans. RankEngine shows plan access in-app before generation.
Usage
Brief research is cached per keyword for repeat work. AI synthesis uses your RankEngine AI wallet and only runs after you confirm the action.
